This is such a great quote and so true! There is currently a TV program on in the US titled "What Would You Do" which places people in situations where they must make a choice to take action against a cultural wrong or ignore it. It has been very interesting so far.
I am very limited knowledge of tv, but I am can imagine the action or reaction to various situations. I remember a woman being beat in daylight in the middle of a busy intersection of the city. I stopped to tell him to leave her alone and he told me to mind by own business. Though he stopped long enough for her to break free of him. It's not always easy to know who needs help when. I try if nothing else to put myself in the shoes of a victim. I know myself people have said you should do this or just run or why stay?
